Project Coordinator

Job Description

Summary   Schedule and coordinate work schedule for production fabrication shop as required by the demands of the sales force.  Analyzes blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for products, projects, or services by performing the following duties.


 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


 



  • Reviews data to determine material and labor requirements and prepares itemized lists.

  • Solicits sale of new or additional product

  • Computes cost factors and prepares estimates used for management purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work; preparing bids; selecting vendors or subcontractors; and determining cost effectiveness.

  • Consults with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.

  • Interfaces with other individuals in the organization to obtain support and commitment to the cost estimates.

  • Organizes and manages a centralized cost estimating database and a formal process to support cost estimating to ensure historical data is utilized.

  • Analyzes completed projects to compare estimated costs to actual costs and determine the reason for any discrepancies.

  • Order Entry, Order Billing, Inventory Control, Purchasing and Customer Service

  • Provides improvement recommendations to cost estimating procedures to reduce future discrepancies between estimated and actual costs.

  • Advanced computer skills (familiarity with JD Edwards would be a plus)

  • Familiarity with ordering products by purchase order

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Team-Oriented


 


Education and/or Experience


 


College Degree or some college is preferred; high school diploma is a minimum

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
